A 2006 Gallup Poll shows that 53% of American white people believe that whites and non-whites have approximately equal job opportunities. Come on, fellow white people! Dear all racial and ethnic minorities: I’m here to announce that not all white people are retarded. In fact, 47% of us are provably not retarded! Well, except, I suppose, for the percentage of the white population that believe whites and non-whites do not have equal job opportunities AND are also legally retarded.  On behalf of the other 53%, I’m sorry.
