I’m sorry my sweet tumblr, I’ve neglected you.
A lot of big things are happening. Mainly, I’m taking part in the launch of Signal5’s professional photography service, and one of my photos was features in their blog announcement of the service.

Finally starting to build a nicer collection of equipment. I’m picking up the Minolta 28-75 2.8 some time this week. Next I need to pick up a nice monolight (or two), and finally the ZA mount Zeiss 24-70 f/2.8 to replace the 28-75, at some point over the next few months. That should have me pretty much set to do all the interesting work I want to do over the next few months.
Art projects mainly. I’ve decided to focus less on trying to make money with my photography, and more on trying to create art. If somebody sees my work and likes it, and wants to hire me or buy a print, great. If not, that’s fine too, I enjoy my photography, and the art I create is reward enough.
Oh yeah, and I’m shooting CRYSTAL CASTLES tomorrow. Fuck yeah!
