I AM A FUCKING INTELLECTUAL

I’m incredibly tired right now, but thats what happens when you talk on the phone instead of sleeping.

BUT I CANT SLEEP. TOO MUCH SHIT TO DO.

Things I need to do:

• Learn CSS/HTML and update my portfolio website.
• Finish the lynda.com photoshop for photographers dvd. I know photoshop pretty well, but I’m mostly self taught, so I’d like to see what I  can learn from some formal lessons.
• Make rooftop rum
• Actually catch up in my classes … oh heavens.
• Plan a trip to Burlington at some point, to visit Madison.
• Get a whole bunch of new photoshoots together.
• Reprocess some of my older photos now that I know what the hell I’m doing.
• Probably some other stuff.

Went to PS1 with Vanessa today. It was pretty fantastic. The WACK! exhibit on feminist art was amazing. So much great stuff. Paintings, multimedia art, journals and all kinds of cool stuff on display.

We ended up barging into a debate on art and feminism, and women in art, and what should be done to achieve parity with men, in the sense that for many years museums only showed the art of men, and female art was considered to be inferior. It turned into a great discussion, and it was a lot of fun to participate in. The discussion (which included free tea!) was sponsored by LLTR, a “feminist genderqueer artist collective”. So all in all, the whole day was pretty awesome.
